I have worked in the field of international development for over 15 years, having started off at the Poverty Research Unit at Sussex. I currently lead the program Supporting Inclusive Growth at the International Development Research Centre (www.idrc.ca/sig), which last year launched on women’s economic empwerment, GrOW (www.idrc.ca/grow).

Mr Haan, As I wrote before through Twitter account, we are organising The 2nd International Congress of Applied Sciences (UUBK 2016) will jointly be held by the School of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Konya Necmettin Erbakan University and with the contribution of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Interior Directorate General of Migration Management in the city of Konya, Turkey in 23-24 of September 2016.     I am a research scholar. Doing PhD in sociology . My areas of specialization are migration and gender and development. My topic of PhD research is impact of international migration on women left behind : a sociological study of kamboj in Punjab. I worked on basically gulf migration or some illegal migration that how such migration of husband impact on women left behind. I am on thesis submission stage. I read your paper related to migration , all are very helpful for my study . Thank you for giving such a nice insight. I want to work further on Punjabis in Canada and also women too.
